What to budget and verify before purchase

  • Whether shielding gas is mandatory for laser enablement on the machine.
  • Which gas the manufacturer specifies for your main material.
  • Regulator, hose and cylinder requirements.
  • Whether gas is included in the package—it usually is not.
  • Ventilation and fume controls, especially for coated or zinc-containing materials.
