Why brass needs its own buying page

Brass combines reflectivity with zinc content, so a generic “welds metal” claim is not enough. Buyers should look for a manufacturer that explicitly lists brass and, ideally, publishes a brass/copper capability rather than only a general steel range.

What to verify

  • Exact brass alloy and material thickness.
  • Whether the published range is brass-specific or generic.
  • Fume extraction requirements for zinc-containing alloys.
  • Filler wire compatibility and cosmetic-finish expectations.
