The real decision is job fit, not power alone
The T700 is the lower-cost compact option and publishes material-specific capability for several common shop metals. The LW1200 offers more nominal output, but its current published 0.3–4 mm figure is presented as an overall range rather than a material-by-material matrix. That means a buyer should not assume “1200W = thicker on every alloy” without sample validation.
For thin-sheet repair or light fabrication, the T700 may cover the actual work at a much lower acquisition price. For recurring jobs that need more output headroom, higher speed or a broader production window, the LW1200 is the more logical machine to investigate.
Facility and ownership checks
ARCCAPTAIN clearly publishes 220V input for the LW1200. HEROLASER’s current T700 product table is much clearer about cooling, weight and material capability than electrical input, so LaserWeldFit marks the exact T700 facility requirement as a verify-before-buy item rather than filling the gap from a review or assumption.
