Published material claims

SFX publishes 4.5 mm stainless/carbon/galvanized, 3.5 mm aluminum and 2 mm brass/copper for ALW-1400. OMTech publishes up to 4 mm stainless/carbon and 2 mm aluminum for its 1500W system.

Cooling and chassis

SFX positions ALW-1400 as an integrated air-cooled system with built-in wire feeding. Verify the exact OMTech package/cooling configuration before comparing footprint or maintenance.

What the wattage number misses

This is a good example of why 1400W versus 1500W cannot be decided from 100 watts. Material-specific claims, wire-feed integration, support and price can dominate that small optical-output difference.
