We classify brands by what a US buyer can actually do today: direct cart checkout, local-warehouse selection, quote/demo, or a hybrid. This is a buying-channel map—not a ranking.
US warehouse does not automatically mean low risk
Verify which SKU is physically local, whether freight is curbside or tailgate delivery, who pays return freight, whether duties are already included, and whether a used machine can be returned. A warehouse badge can hide very different policies.
When direct checkout is a real advantage
Direct checkout can make financing, coupon tracking, credit-card protection and affiliate attribution easier. But for a shop that needs commissioning, safety engineering or production validation, quote-led support can be worth more than a frictionless cart.
