Start with the welding head model
Record the exact head family before ordering optics or nozzles. Product families such as SUP/Weiye have multiple generations and part types, and a marketplace title is not enough to prove fit.
Protective window vs focusing/collimating optics
These components have different roles and replacement implications. A protective window is typically the first sacrificial optical barrier; focusing and collimating assemblies are not interchangeable consumables.
Create a parts record before production
For each machine, store the head model, protective-lens specification, nozzle family, feeder model, supplier URLs and minimum spare quantity. That turns a future failure into a stocked maintenance event instead of a search emergency.
Frequently asked questions
Can I buy a protective lens based only on diameter?
No. Diameter alone does not prove optical position, coating, thickness or system compatibility.
Why does LaserWeldFit cover low-cost parts?
Because recurring replacement and compatibility searches can matter more to uptime than another generic “top 10 machines” page.
