What changes when the seller is not the manufacturer
Verify whether the warranty transfers, whether the manufacturer will support the serial number, whether software/manuals are available and whether replacement parts can be purchased without the original account.
Ask for evidence, not “low hours”
- Serial number and purchase date.

Frequently asked questions
Is a used laser welder a good first machine?
It can be, but only when you can verify support, condition, safety documentation and the exact process fit. The lower purchase price should compensate for the added uncertainty.
Can I assume the original warranty transfers?
No. Check the manufacturer’s written warranty terms and the serial number before purchase.
